Friday Club

Would you like to know more about the architecture of Stockport, growing herbs or dog obedience? These are just a few of the topics on which speakers talk to the Friday Club at All Saints.

We are a friendly, social group which meets fortnightly on a Friday at 7.30 pm, usually in the church Meeting Room. (From December to March we meet at 2pm)

Members pay £10 a year and a nominal amount each meeting to cover tea, coffee, and biscuits.

Although this is a group for women of all ages, anybody is most welcome to attend if they are interested in hearing one of the speakers. Non-members pay just £1 per meeting.

Upcoming events include

8 February 2019

The Archaeology of Stockport - Norman Redhead

15 March 2019

The History and Making of Walking Sticks - Geoff Williams

As well as our Friday meetings we go out for lunch together twice a year and have a stall at the church's Christmas Fair. We also have a supper at the meeting near to Halloween and a buffet lunch at our Christmas party.
